Challenge and approach
When Homewardbase came to us with their vision for a lifechanging foster care application, we dove right in. We took the time to truly understand the need, the system, and their goals for improving it. Our team began with crafting a top-notch web application, moved on to developing a sleek and user-friendly mobile app, and polished it all off with a stunning website to showcase the solution. It was a collaborative effort, and we’re thrilled with the final result.
The application
We embarked on the project by sketching out the user journey and crafting a seamless, intuitive experience that users would love. We then focused on crafting a visually appealing and on-brand user interface that was not only pleasing to the eye, but also easy to navigate. Finally, we transformed these designs into reality by writing clean, scalable, and easy-to-follow code that ensured Homewardbase’s web and mobile application would run smoothly and reliably.
Our tool kit here included (to name a few):
The website
To effectively showcase the new app, we focused on presenting its functionality in a clear and understandable way. We broke down the app by feature and user types, highlighting how it can be used by various participants in the foster care system.
The design was crafted to be clear and simple, and it always leads visitors to take action by either contacting Homewardbase or signing up for a free trial.
“We had a pretty bold vision for the product we wanted to develop, but Out of a Box really took the time to understand how the foster care system worked and what kinds of problems we were trying to solve. They become experts in the field that we could rely on and even saw things that we missed. We couldn’t have asked for a better development partner.”
